North Shore Community Resources acknowledges and honours that we work on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Sḵwxwú7mesh (Squamish), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
Founded in 1976, North Shore Community Resources is a registered non-profit organization under the Societies Act of British Columbia and a registered charity regulated by the CRA. We have been dedicated to strengthening the North Shore by enhancing individual and community wellbeing, fostering social connections, and supporting active community participation.
NSCR designs and delivers a wide range of inclusive programs and services that respond to community needs. We support children and families through early childhood resources, workshops, and drop-in programs that strengthen relationships and promote healthy development. For seniors and caregivers, we offer information and referral services, connection programs, and practical supports that help maintain independence and wellbeing. Our Community Legal Services team provides accessible legal information, guidance, and advocacy on issues such as family law, housing, employment, and basic living concerns. We also engage residents through community services like information and referral, income tax clinics, civic participation initiatives, intergenerational projects, and volunteer connection programs that help people contribute meaningfully to their communities.
