Julia Bilinski is a dedicated public sector advisor, specializing in governance, health, labour, and socio-political policies. As the child of immigrants, Julia’s upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for the opportunities provided by public and non-profit services and a strong desire to give back to the community. Her experience of being raised on the North Shore has made her profoundly grateful for her parents’ decision to settle on the traditional territories of the Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh nations.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, double majoring in Political Science and Psychology from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Victoria. In her current role as a Strategic Advisor at Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), she provides senior leadership support, strategic research, and policy analysis to support the thousands of healthcare workers in providing accessible and quality care to patients and the community.

As an alumna of North Shore Community Resources’ own North Shore Young Civic Forum, Julia has first-hand experience of the high value of NSCR’s programming and wants to support the organization’s mandate. She is passionate about advancing the voices of young people and empowering diverse and connected communities.

Julia’s personal and professional experiences drive her unwavering dedication to public service and community advocacy. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, knitting, spending time with friends and family, spoiling her dog, and strolling the Spirit Trail.
