Did you know NSCR runs a free lending library dedicated to early childhood education and care? Through our North Shore Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) program, we offer Early Childhood Educators, ECE students, caregivers, parents, and anyone passionate about quality early learning free access to a well-loved collection of books, toys, equipment, and other resources.
Our shelves are stocked with puppets, wooden toys and games, felt stories, story kits, and books, along with materials designed to help you understand and put into practice culturally diverse, inclusive approaches to pedagogy and early learning development. Whether you’re planning circle time activities, looking for new ways to support a child’s development, or simply want fresh ideas for your childcare space, our library has something for you.
How it works
Browsing our resources is easy. Start by checking out our online Toy Catalogue to see what’s available, then reach out to a CCRR Community Support Consultant to select and borrow the items you’d like.
Prefer to see things in person? You’re welcome to visit us during our regular office hours, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, with select evenings and weekends available too.
