National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

This is a day for our community, and the whole of Canada to reflect on the intergenerational effects of the residential school system. Commemorating this tragic history publicly is a critical part of the reconciliation process.

NSCR encourages our North Shore community to spend the day reflecting on the history of Indigenous peoples in Canada so you can take action to advance Truth and Reconciliation with our Indigenous neighbours and friends.
